Years ago I had this crazy idea for a school maths text book. Filled with mad drawings and scribbles, peppered with "unacceptable" language, designed to be really cool. The teachers were supposed to hate it. So were the parents. But it was going to explain lots of school maths concepts in language that any kid can understand. Instead of technical jargon. If any of you have ever seen a book called Amphigorey, that's how I imagined it being bound. Sadly I never found a willing publisher. Cheap dip pen and India ink on cartridge.
