Ravens

This was one of a proposed series of illustrations for an insurance company. I can't remember what the birds were supposed to be chattering about. I started in pencil on this lovely coarse cotton based watercolour paper, then I washed over it with acrylics to get the feel of watercolour, after which I used the acrylic like oils to complete the birds. Something different.
